- Background: I have lived in Utah for 28 years and have raised three children. Education has always been important in our family. My oldest son has graduated from the University of Utah, and my two younger children are completing their degrees. While my children were still in school I successfully owned and operated an interior design store and taught art to adults and children in my spare time at Bed Bath and Home. It has always been my life-long dream to finish my college degree and become a teacher. My goals as a teacher are to motivate my students to develop a love of learning, openly express their ideas, and learn to work with others in a cooperative environment.
